Meet the Rover Plus

New to the UK market and representing a step change in mobile x-ray design, the Rover Plus by Micro-X uses advanced technology to shave up to 75% of the weight off a typical mobile x-ray system. The result is a unit that is so lightweight that motors are not required, meaning it is infinitely manoeuvrable whilst still packing the performance of a range topping model.
Find out more about the Rover Plus and how Vertec can help to revolutionise your mobile fleet below.

Lightweight & Mobile

At around 105kg, the rover is able to deliver outstanding manoeuvrability by doing away with heavy, complex and unreliable motors. When on the move, the small footprint and collapsible arm allows a clear line of sight. The intuitive, featherlight drive makes it simple to navigate in even the tightest of hospital environments. High performance lithium batteries provide a 7 hour battery life and take just 90 minutes to fully charge.

Tube for Life

Such is their confidence in this next generation, cold cathode technology, Micro-X are able to offer a 10 year tube guarantee. Despite the miniaturisation of the x-ray tube, the cold cathode emitter has an impressive output of up to 120kVp & up to 100mA using a 9KW generator.

Simple to Use

Control of the collimators & light beam diaphragm are located on the tube handles, along with a nudge button for hassle free repositioning. Image acquisition itself is a breeze thanks to intuitive on-board software controlled via a multi-touch monitor. Helpful features such as virtual grid/scatter correction, reject analysis reporting and worklist support are included as standard.
